Gifted with a Pliable Voice Music Season - Dec 27 2006(Music Academy)

Bhavadhaarini is gifted with a pliable voice. She has a flair for giving free rein to her pliable voice, as it was evident from the Saveri raga varnam that she sang in three speeds and kalpanaswaram. In the Tyagaraja kriti (Harikhambodi) Bhavadhaarini's tuneful accent on `Rama' and `Brovara,' were more noteworthy.

Full of Grace Febraury 20, 2005

Bhavadhaarini Anantaraman's concert was characterized by talent and verve. Her particular strength is her fine voice, accompanied by becoming exuberance. DKP's training was evident in her alaapanas, swara passages and manodharmic music.

One feels that a ragam-thanam-pallavi after an elaborate main piece tends to be rather heavy. All the same Bhavadhaarini managed to keep the audience focussed.
